Dish: Tomato Chutney



Recipe(got 8oz of chutney):

Ingredients:
8 Tomatoes (I used Roma tomatoes. Slice and dice it into small cubes)
4 Red Chilli
1 Medium-sized Onion (slice and dice it into small cubes)
4 garlic cloves
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp oil (I used Idhayam gingelly oil)
1.5 tbsp salt (add as per your taste requirements)

Steps:
Heat a pan with 2 tbsp oil.
Add the 4 red chilli, chopped onions, 4 garlic cloves, turmeric, coriander powder and saute till onions turn into golden brown color.
Place this into a plate and let it cool down.
Add the tomatoes into the pan until the raw smell goes away. Saute until it becomes soft and mushy.
Add salt and let it lose a bit of water.
Taste the chutney and add salt as required.
Transfer this to a plate and let it cool.
Blend items in the two plates in a mixer.

I did not temper the chutney.

It tastes fantabulous with idly and dosa.
